Explanation
Corosex neutralizes free carbon dioxide in water, improving acidic water, making it less corrosive. After neutralizing the water, the water may need to be softened. Corosex can be effectively mixed with Calcite to combine the high flow neutralization property of Corosex with the lower flow property of Calcite that reacts more slowly. This reduces potentially high core value from over-improvement.
