Industrial reverse osmming water systems

What are industrial reverse osmosis water systems?

Industrial reverse osmosis (RO) water system is a highly effective water treatment process for many industries, including high purity water systems, boiler feeding, pharmaceuticals, central sterilization systems (laboratories, food and beverages, oil and gas, correctional institutions, universities, hospitals, hotels, etc.) to reduce 97-99% of total dissolved solids (TDS) in water.

EGEMSU offers industrial reverse osmosis water systems from 0-1.500 GPM. RO is a highly effective water treatment process to force water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane to cut down dissolved mineral salts, organics and other particles by up to 99%. The process is called "reverse osmosis" because it is the opposite of the natural osmotic process, in which water from a solution containing a low concentration of dissolved solids passes through a membrane that aspires to dilute a higher condensation solution. A reverse osmosis water system is induced by applying pressure with a pump to a solution containing a high concentration of dissolved solids, causing water from the condensed solution to pass through the membrane. This water is called crop water. Dissolved solids do not pass through the membrane; they are often washed to empty as discarded. This washing procedure also prevents contamination or contamination of the membrane surface.
