DEAERATION SYSTEMS

Deaeration Systems are used to remove molten gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in water.

Deaeration systems lighten the load on ion exchange systems by removing both naturally occurring gases and gases formed as by-products at various stages of water treatment. These simple and economical systems do not require any maintenance and when used, the frequency of resin regeneration process is significantly reduced.

Deaerators remove most gases, especially carbon dioxide, from the process water and are used between typical cationic and anionic ion-exchange units or after the reverse osmosis unit. If the carbon dioxide level of the water is high in the process and the deaerator is not used, the regeneration process of anionic resin will become more frequent, causing time loss and excessive chemical consumption.
